D-Calif Sen. Adam Schiff blows up Republicans after confirming President Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Emil Bove, as a federal judge.
The Senate voted to confirm Bove with the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Third Circuit on Tuesday, 50-49 votes, in a challenging confirmation process involving allegations from three whistleblowers who alleged that Bove ignored court orders surrounding Trump’s massive definition agenda and ignored court orders over false lawmakers during his confirmation hearing.
“The Republicans voted to confirm Emil Bove, despite confirming that whistleblowers urged them to ignore the court’s order,” Schiff said Tuesday in the X-Post. “He lied to the Judiciary Committee despite his clarity. And despite the dangers, he brings to the rule of law. The corruption of the bench continues.”

No Democrats voted to support Bove. They were joined by Alaska Officer Lisa Murkowski and Maine Susan Collins.
Meanwhile, R-Iowa Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley supported Bove on the Senator’s floor on Tuesday, saying Bove had faced “unfair accusations and abuses.”
After representing Trump in criminal prosecution, Bove joined Trump’s Justice Department and served as Deputy Deputy Attorney General.
Meanwhile, Schiff has been scrutinized for alleged misconduct on his own and has been referred to the Department of Criminal Prosecution Justice, arising from a dispute in the mortgage document.
The director of the Federal Housing and Finance Administration (FHFA) wrote to Attorney General Pam Bondy and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in May, outlining Schiff’s alleged misconduct against his homes in Maryland and California.

FHFA Director William Plute wrote in a letter obtained by Fox News Digital Monday that Schiff “fals bank documents and real estate records to obtain more favorable loan terms and affects payments on property based in Potomac, Maryland.”
It is unclear whether the Department of Justice has yet to take action against Schiff, and the Department declined to provide a comment to Fox News Digital.
Schiff’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
Meanwhile, Trump has been opposed to Schiff for years, claiming he would do so again in July and wants to see Schiff “put to trial.”

In response, Schiff said Trump’s claims amounted to “an unfounded attempt at political retaliation.”

“Since I led his first round each, I have repeatedly called for Trump to be arrested for treason,” Schiff told the July 15th X-Post. “So, in a way, I think this is a bit of a disappointment. And this unfounded attempt at political retaliation will not stop me from holding him accountable. It’s not a long shot.”
