Approximately $10,000 worth of clothing and other items were stolen from a retailer of rapper Seoul Jaboy over the weekend in Los Angeles’ Fairfax area. Police said.
When theft was reported around 4:30am on Saturday, a person driving at the SODMG branded store in the 7400 block of Melrose Avenue saw a person inside a closed business, Los Angeles police told NBCLA.
Officers discovered the smashed front door when they arrived to search the business, but no one was found at the time. No arrests were reported Monday.
A law enforcement source told NBC4 that about $10,000 worth of items, including sweaters, shirts and gaming consoles, were filmed in the robbery.
The new SODMG brand location, just west of North Vista Street, opened in January across the street from its original store on Melrose Avenue.
The 34-year-old Chicago-born hip-hop artist is legally named Deandre Cortez Way, but is best known for his 2007 single, “Crank That (Soulja Boy).”
