The convicted murderer who fled custody in Southern California late last year and was accused of murdering a Mexican police officer in an elite unit known as the “Gringo Hunter” was arrested in Tijuana last week, according to media reports.
Cesar Hernandez, 35, a US citizen, was convicted of killing a man outside a bar in Southeast Los Angeles in June 2019 and sentenced to 80 years in prison for possible parole.
