A 33-year-old San Bernardino County man involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash over the weekend was killed after succumbing to his injuries, officials said.
Victim Andrew Herrera, a resident of Apple Valley, had moved east on March 15th along Oto Road west of Cheyenne Road.
When the motorcycle turned over, the Herrera, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected.
Deputies at the Apple Valley Station at the Sheriff’s Bureau responded to the scene before 7:30pm and found the 33-year-old suffered serious injuries.

Herrera was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and later declared dead after succumbing to injuries.

Otoe Road, located between the intersection of Quantico Roads and Navajo Roads, was closed for about three hours while authorities with SBSD’s main accident investigation team handled the scene and spoke to witnesses.
Authorities did not provide additional details, including alcohol, drugs, or illegal street racing that could be a factor in a fatal accident.
