A San Bernardino County man is behind bars after authorities say he killed his brother early Friday morning.
According to a bulletin released by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, officers were dispatched to the 18800 block of Ninth Avenue in Bloomington around 5:15 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.
Police arrived at the scene and found a deceased man inside the home. He was identified as Pedro Chavez, 32, of Bloomington.

SBSD’s Homicide Details took over the investigation and determined the suspect was the victim’s brother, David Chavez, 25, also of Bloomington.
He was arrested and transported to West Valley Detention Center, where he is being held without bail.
