A woman has been arrested in connection with the stabbing deaths of her husband and a teenage boy in San Bernardino County.
The suspect was identified as Carolyn Jackson, 44, of Needles, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
On Dec. 5, authorities responded to a call of a stabbing at a home in the 200 block of Walnut Street in Needles just before 5 a.m.
Arriving officers found two victims inside the residence, Brian Jackson, 48, and an unidentified 16-year-old boy.
Brian was found with multiple stab wounds. Although life-saving measures were taken, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives identified Brian’s wife, Carolyn, as the prime suspect in the murder. She was found nearby and arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
The motive behind the fatal stabbing remains unclear. Detectives did not confirm the relationship between the boy and the couple. Carolyn was arrested at the High Desert Detention Center and is being held without bail.

An autopsy will be performed by the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine Brian’s official cause of death.
