The metro at the T-Mobile store in South Los Angeles was robbed overnight, with crushed glass remaining outside the storefront near a busy intersection.
The intrusion occurred at the corner of South Figuero Avenue and Sloughson Avenue, just off the 110 Expressway. The store’s front windows were destroyed and glass was seen littering across the sidewalk early Sunday morning.
Officers from the LAPD’s 77th Division were at the scene investigating late in the morning. It is unclear exactly when the robbery occurred, what was taken, and how many individuals were involved.

A little further away, S. The illegal street acquisition took place at the intersection of figueroa and Slauson around the same time. It is unknown whether the incident is related to the intrusion.
Unconfirmed reports from the field indicate that street racers participating in the acquisition may be the cause of the intrusion, but LAPD has not yet confirmed these details.
