The U.S. Department of Justice has released charges against the 41-year-old undocumented mother of South Los Angeles. He accused federal immigration agents of “adjusting fake tricks,” generating sympathy and seeking donations.
Yuliana Julia “Juli” Peraescalderon of South Los Angeles is charged with conspiracy and making false statements to federal officers.
On June 30, Calderon’s family and lawyers held a press conference, where she was taken from the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in downtown Los Angeles and taken to a warehouse along the US-Mexico border, where she announced her self-abolition.
According to the DOJ, Calderon crafted a story and was later discovered in Bakersfield.
The Department of Homeland Security called the incident a “horror” early in its investigation.

“The dangerous rhetoric of ice agents ‘inviting’ is that illegal immigrants are recklessly engaging with politicians, reflected in the media, inflaming the public, and distrustful of courageous federal agents,” Bill Essay said. “The actions allegedly in today’s complaint show that the “invite” of this hoax is a well-organized conspiracy. ”
If convicted of all charges, Calderon could face five years in federal prison for conspiracy and be faced up to five years in federal prison for false statements, the DOJ said.
The essay showed that more individuals could face accusations.
