The installed SpaceX rocket is powered by Starlink Internet satellites located on board and will be available Tuesday afternoon from the Santa Barbara County Coast.
The launch of the Falcon 9, scheduled for 5:43pm from the Vandenberg Space Force Base, will lead 27 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. The backup startup opportunity is available until 8:39 pm
If necessary, another launch window will open at 4:16pm on Wednesdays

The rocket and its exhaust plume can be seen for hundreds of miles as they soar along the coast if the sky is clear and the light is correct.
The launch is too early to produce the spectacular sights of the fire near sunrise and sunset. Releases just after sunset and just before sunrise usually provide the best views as the rocket reflects the sunlight against the dark sky background.

SpaceX has the Starlink constellations, a satellite orbiting Earth, about 340 miles above, trapped in space by company rockets. The StarLink network is designed to provide high-speed internet anywhere in the world.
If the light is in correct condition, the satellites will appear on the train as they parade across the night sky. The satellite can be seen before sunrise for the first few minutes after sunset when the sun is below the horizon before sunrise, but the satellite is high enough to reflect direct sunlight.
