Failed Georgia nominee, Stacey Abrams, faces condemnational criticism after appearing on MSNBC to buy green energy equipment for Americans in defending a $2 billion initiative based on the Biden administration’s EPA.
“Stacy Abrams’ linked power forward community received $2 billion in taxes in 2024 after reporting just $100 the previous year. They were not eligible, so they requested that NGOs complete their ‘How to develop budgets’ training within 90 days.”
“For many reasons, this organization should not have had $2 billion in hard acquisition taxes drew on it, especially if you don’t even know how to put together a budget.
Zeldin’s response joined MSNBC on Friday to defend Biden Administration, which last year granted $2 billion to a group called Power Forward Communities.
Biden sent $2 billion to Stacey Abrams Link Group on the Green Energy scheme,” the EPA says.

The group is a consortium of residential nonprofits such as Habitat for Humanity International, United Way Worldwide and Rewiring America. Fox Digital previously reportedly reportedly said Abrams had “a pivotal role” in establishing the group.
Abrams said he is working with America’s Rewiring to bring energy-efficient appliances to the Georgia community in 2023 and 2024 to defend the funds provided to the Power Forward community at MSNBC.
“What is this organization? What is your relationship? What does it do?” MSNBC’s Chris Hayes asked Abrams during the program.

“In 2023 and 2024, I was leading a program called Vitalizing de Soto. We worked in a small town in South Georgia and can reduce costs by replacing energy-efficient appliances with efficient appliances. In fact, we achieved that with 75% of our community, half for the project.

Abrams has been working together to call for the EPA under the Biden administration, copying the program and delivering the same results across the nation because the project is so beneficial to Americans.
“Based on that program, a coalition of organizations – well-known organizations – gathered together to tell the EPA, “If we can do this here, we can do this for more Americans. Let’s invest American money to lower American costs.” And the EPA said, “Okay, great, go for it.” And they brought 250 years and $100 billion in experience to do this project and gave those dollars to this coalition of organisations that assembled,” she said.
The $2 billion was used to “decarbonize homes” in low-income communities, and according to a press release from the Power Forward Community in April 2024, it was paid for new appliances such as water heaters, induction stoves, solar panels, EV chargers and weather resistant.

Power Forward Communities CEO Tim Mayopoulos told Politico last month that Abrams had not received funding from EPA Grant.
“Stacy Abrams has not received this EPA grant penny,” he said last month. “We never had plans to receive money from this grant. The Power Forward community has nothing to do with Ms. Abrams except for the fact that she is one of those who advised one of our alliance members in the past.”
Social media conservatives denounced Abrams in media interviews. As critics asked why the EPA didn’t offer rebates to Americans who purchased energy-efficient appliances, others said it intended to “buy votes” in Georgia, which was the battlefield during the 2024 election cycle.
Fox Digital contacted the PR company representing Abrams on Sunday afternoon to comment on the issue, but did not receive an immediate reply.
In an interview with MSNBC, Abrams argued that conservatives such as President Zeldin and Donald Trump were “angry” at the funds provided to the group because Democrats “know how to serve Americans and lower prices.”
“What’s mad at them is that they know it works, so they do it. And in fact, the EPA quietly released funds for part of this program, $7 billion, today, and lower their prices,” she said.
President Donald Trump will address the joint Congress meeting on March 4, 2025.
The interview follows Trump, who called Abrams during a speech to a joint session in Congress last Tuesday.
“We know that the $1.9 billion that recently created the decarbonisation of the Homes Committee, which was recently created, is involved – in the final moments, the money was taken over by a woman named Stacey Abrams. Have you heard of her?” Trump said in his speech in the name of Boosing Abrams, as Trump said.

The Washington Post cited the statement facts and gave Trump four “Pinocchios” for comments, and Abrams said, “I never led the consortium. She was not even responsible for the consortium. Plus, she was an advisor.
Abrams did not distance himself from the project during his interview with MSNBC and instead did not celebrate DeSoto’s vitality work.

The EPA has returned to its own fact check following Wapo’s story, “it’s no surprise that the Washington Post continues to grab the line towards the radical left and defends its obvious chronism rather than actually working on investigating on behalf of the American people.”
