Starbucks customers are looking to see a much smaller menu.
The coffee giant announced on March 4th that it will remove 13 unpopular drinks.
“As part of our plans to return to Starbucks, we’re simplifying our menu, focusing on fewer popular items and excellence,” Starbucks told Today.com. “This gives way to innovation, reduces waiting times, improves quality and consistency, and aligns with our core identity as a coffee company.”

The slimmed down menu is part of a broader change in operation by the world’s most iconic coffee brands. In a letter to employees Monday, new Starbucks CEO Brian Nicole announced plans to fire 1,100 corporate employees around the world.
“Our intention is to operate more efficiently, increase accountability, reduce complexity and promote better integration,” Nicole wrote in the letter.
Starbucks hired Nicole last fall to reverse sales, falling 2% in 2024.
Nicole says he wants to improve service times, especially during the morning rush hour, and reestablish the store as a community gathering location.
