If you’re looking for party music at the greatest possible stage, you’re no longer in the rest of the rest of the post-Malone’s upcoming Coachella set. Pop Rap Country Phenom will close out its music festival this weekend.
I have everything we know about Malone’s Headlining Coachella performance: a pretty decent hype.
What day will Post Malone appear at Coachella?
You can catch him on the first weekend of the fest on Sunday, April 13th. He will return to stage for Weekend 2 on Sunday, April 20th.
What time will Post Malone play Coachella Stage?
Post Malone will take the stage at 10:25pm on Sunday at both one and two weekend festivals. Thankfully, the weather should be better now. There are several sets in other stages (Polo & Pan, XG, Dixon in succession with Jimi Jules), but technically it starts later, but for all practical purposes, Malone has the honor of closing Coachella.
Has Post Malone played Coachella before?
yes. He only officially appeared in the Coachella lineup before, but he is no stranger to the Empire Polo Club. In 2018 he played the Sahara tent and returned as an unannounced guest in 2023 with the Bad Bunny headline set. And gave him a turn to his recent country pop – he actually played last year’s Stage Coach Festival.
Is there any news about the Post Malone setlist for Coachella?
I’m not sure exactly how Posy works with Coachella, but I can see some of his recent sets for pretty decent signs. First of all, I think it’s pretty certain you can hear a mix of hits across your career. “Congratulations,” “Sunflowers,” “Rockstar,” “Psycho,” “White Iverson,” “Now, all of the recent setlists were gear. He’s also relied on the “wrong thing” of the F-1 trillion opener a few times recently. And since that album was released after his stage coach set last year (which consisted entirely of country covers), we wouldn’t be surprised that a few other tracks have appeared on the set list.
What special guests might appear?
Now, let’s start by at least not having guests appear on the paper. Malone’s two Coachella sets technically kick off the “Big As Stadium Tour” with Jerry Roll and Sierra Ferrell, but the tour posters point out very specifically that neither of them appears on the Indio dates. (Of course, Jerry Roll has been heading stage horses in a few weeks, so it certainly makes sense for him to make a cameo to tease that show.)
Note that Ty Dolla $IGN closes his set just before Posty. So you won’t be surprised to see him scoot out of a Sahara tent to guest on “Psycho.” Otherwise, Malone’s potential special guests seem endless at first glance. He works with the massive hip-hop stars (21 Savages, young thugs, Coachella headliner, Travis Scott), pop icons (Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber), and country legends (Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton). And of course, he sang the lead alongside members of Nirvana who survived during the SNL 50th Anniversary Special.
Can I watch the post Malone live stream?
