Surfing’s US Open returned to Huntington Beach this weekend.
The US Sulfing Open, part of World Surfreig (WSL)’s competitive surfing circuit, is the third stop in the WSL Challenger series. Surfers who qualify during the circuit will have the opportunity to take part in the Championship Tour, the world’s most competitive surfing top.
The family-friendly event, which begins on July 26th and runs through August 3rd, also included a freestyle motocross trick show on Saturday. There will also be shows on Sunday mornings and afternoons.
There is also a hub for surf lovers installed in Lexus homes. The Lexus home is open daily during events. There will also be a premium space for participants to watch the competition, food options, signing opportunities and opportunities to see the Lexus Surf LX concept vehicle.
To add to your fun, there will also be live music throughout the weekend after the competition finishes the day. The Common Kings will perform on Saturday nights, and on Sunday, three groups will perform for over three hours between 4 and 7pm
The best part? Almost everything is free. This means that the whole family will come out and see the best surfing in the world here at SoCal.
