The suspect was arrested after it was discovered that a man was shot dead in Orange County.
On February 21, police responded to a shooting in a car park near 9622 Garden Grove Blvd. At Garden Groves at 11:20pm
Officials discovered Garden Globe victim True Huyn, 26, suffered a head injury. He was taken to hospital, where he died of injuries three days later.
Detectives later identified the suspicious gunman as Changtamjan, 19, of Garden Globes. On February 26th, Zian was detained in San Isidro as he was about to cross the border into Mexico.
A search warrant was later executed at Jiang’s residence. He was arrested and booked at the Orange County Jail.
It is unclear whether the suspect and the victim are known to each other, and the motives behind the fatal shooting remain under investigation.
The suspect, Jang Tam Jang, 19, can be seen in booking photos at the Garden Grove Police Station.
“Detectives are still investigating to see if any additional people are involved,” police said.
