The suspect was arrested for a series of expensive retail thefts targeting shoe stores throughout LA County.
The suspect was identified as Henry Rivera, 23, of Compton, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
LAPD’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) was investigating Rivera in connection with separate cases of at least nine robberies and grand theft.
During the theft, Rivera is said to have escaped with stolen goods worth around $25,800.

On July 2nd he was in the 100 block of E. Alondra Boulevard in Compton. He was taken into custody following a search warrant in which police found two firearms and a considerable amount of stolen goods.
He was arrested for grand larceny and is being held on $300,000 bail.
“ORCTF is dedicated to combating organized retail theft and continues to partner with retailer partners to protect local businesses,” the authorities said.
