A 58-year-old man has been arrested by police in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on suspicion of murder in San Bernardino County late last month, authorities announced Wednesday.
The violence occurred in the 13100 block of Joliet Drive in Rancho Cucamonga just after 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, according to a news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Responding officers found the victim, Josh Watson, 43, of Rancho Cucamonga, injured and unresponsive. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

SBSD’s Special Investigations Division Homicide Unit was assigned to the case and learned that the 43-year-old man had been contacted by the suspect, now identified as Paul Warren of Mira Loma, when he returned home. .
“During the encounter, Ms. Watson sustained fatal injuries and the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived,” the statement said.
A warrant has been issued for Warren’s arrest, he was arrested by Philadelphia police detectives on Dec. 9, and he is awaiting extradition to Southern California, SBSD said.

Authorities have not released details about how Warren allegedly killed the 43-year-old man, nor have they given a motive for the deadly encounter, but Watson, of the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, Former colleagues say it may have been work-related.
