The shootings of two people hospitalized in Huntington Beach have been arrested.
On March 16, Huntington Beach police responded to a shooting near Mandrel Drive and Colledrane around 8:50pm
Upon arrival, officers spotted two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both taken to a local hospital for treatment and were expected to survive.
The gunman had fled the scene before police arrived.
Investigators later identified the suspected gunman as Raul Bustilos, 27, of Huntington Beach. He was found and taken into custody.
The motives behind the shooting remain under investigation, but police believe the incident may be linked to the gang.
“Detectives are actively investigating the possibility of additional suspects that remain unsolved,” police said.
As the investigation continued, no further details were released, including the victim’s identity.
