San Bernardino County investigators responded to reports of human remains found outside the convenience store, suggesting that the preliminary report was a teddy bear wrapped in human skin, but found preliminary reports.
Officials with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that lawmakers had arrived at the AMPM store in the Victorville, in the 1300 block of Bear Valley Road around 12:05pm.
“The coroner investigator owns the object and the investigation continues,” said SBCSD spokesperson Mara Rodriguez.

In footage of the scene obtained by KTLA, sheriff’s deputies were in close contact from the store’s parking lot, but coroner investigators inspected a teddy bear just outside the entrance to the AMPM.

The gloved coroner was seen examining the object and then gently rotating the object, placing the object in the shape of a teddy bear in a pink plastic bag.
It is unclear whether investigators requested footage from the store from surveillance cameras.
