Surveillance video filmed a teenage bike mob looting a gas station convenience store in L.A.’s Lincoln Heights neighborhood.
A group of about 15-20 people targeted the Chevron gas station at 1101 N. Mission Rd. It was before 6pm on July 31st.
The camera arrived on the bike at the gas station and immediately ran to the convenience store. Many of the suspects looked like teenagers and young adults.
The suspect began looting the store shelves. Many grabbed the arms of snacks, energy drinks and merchandise before running away from the store.

The store owner, Justin Salib, said he was warned of the theft by his alarm company and the cashier who worked at the time.
“They just came in like it was a Halloween trick or treat,” Salib told KTLA’s Lindsay Pena. “They came in and saw what they wanted, and it was about grabbing a box, not just grabbing one or two items.”
Many items were thrown to the ground and appeared to have been destroyed in the aftermath. Group employees were not facing the group and no injuries were reported.
Police were called to the scene, but the group had fled by the time they arrived. Salib alleged that the authorities told him they couldn’t do much about the situation. He said he is tired of dealing with what appears to be a continuing increase in theft and crime.
“When will it be enough?” he asked. “We are all small business owners. We all pay taxes and do everything in the right legal way. At the end of the day, we get a short end of the stick.”
At this point, Salib said he felt he had no choice but to pay the costs to replace the stolen inventory and restock the shelves.
“There are no results,” he said. “The crazy part is, these are kids, high school students, middle school students. Where are your parents?”
