Two teenagers, not even old enough to drive, were charged with cruelly violating and murdering a man sleeping outside an Oxnard church on Thursday.
The 14-year-old and 15 teenagers are accused of killing Davy Glenn Pichell, whose bodies were found outside St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.
Pichelle, who was declared dead at the scene, said she was “partially undressed,” and the prosecutor was also a teenager.
Surveillance footage from Wednesday night showed Pichelle sitting next to a wheelchair before “a teenager allegedly beat and trampled on the victim,” prosecutors said.
The teens from both Oxnard have left and come back twice for more violence.”[ing] Stomp him again, and during the third attack, take some of Pichelle’s clothes before running away.
Pichelle was found to have “severe injuries to the head and face area.”
The motive for the attack has not been revealed.
The teens are being detained in juvenile facilities and are scheduled to continue their arrests on June 24th.
