The homeless man faces a sentence Monday for an unprovocative assault on Asian American women in Culver City.
Jesse Lindsay pleaded guilty to a federal charge on June 14, 2021, and assault was filmed on security video.
The victim was working and walking around 1am. According to federal prosecutors, Lindsay approached her and cried out. [expletive] A white boy? ”
Lindsay, whose last known address was in Fontana, punched the woman in her head, then fell down the street and slammed her in the head.

The victim suffered head and ear injuries and required around 11 stitches.
Authorities released surveillance video of the attacker at a nearby convenience store shortly after the attack. After he was identified and arrested, prosecutors said Lindsay made several disparaging and profanity statements about people of Asian descent.
Lindsay faces a statutory maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
