Exclusive: Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn rode alongside volunteer state immigrants and customs enforcement on Friday to promote new laws to punish people who punish federal law enforcement.

In suburban and rural and rural areas just outside Nashville, while riding in Blackburn in Rutherford County, just outside Nashville, ice officials are “targeting” illegal immigrants convicted of child sexual abuse, according to her office.

“We really don’t appreciate the amount of work that leads to anxiety and deportation until we talk to men and women who work hard every day behind the scenes and see the risks they take in person. As ice executives face a 500% increase in attacks on them, we are giving these agents a debt of gratitude to them so that they can be safe.”

The mayor of Nashville is standing behind Dox’s ice agents, even after officials say his actions are at risk.

“Lawless, left-wing politicians are spurring a surge in attacks on law enforcement officials who risk their lives to keep our communities safe. President Trump and his administration are standing up for law-abiding citizens rather than illegal criminal foreigners by working with ice agents,” she added.

Tennessee, and Nashville in particular, is a flash of light in the debate over illegal immigration.

Democrat Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell opposed the Trump administration’s immigration policy. He recently faced a backlash in the names of federal officers released in a public report, resulting in Doxx’s charges.

“I’m not saying it’s a risk process. They say there may be some concerns — I’m much more concerned about the overall dynamics that we’re foaming unmarked, unidentified, masked people into the car — I think that’s a bigger concern,” O’Connell said at a news conference.

He is currently under investigation by GOP House lawmakers, including Nashville-Area MP Andy Ogles, as it could hinder federal immigration efforts.

“That’s not the process I characterize as Doxxing. It was an unintended release of a name that was already part of the public record,” O’Connell added at the time.

Blue City Mayor says ice arrests of dangerous criminals “doesn’t focus on making us safer.”

“I don’t think it would be at any additional risk, as they were already part of the public record of being on the emergency communications department’s phone, but that’s not the intention of the executive order that those names would be released,” he added.

Blackburn introduced “protecting law enforcement from the DOXXING Act” earlier this month, making it illegal to release the names of federal officials if they intend to “obstruct” criminal or immigrant cases.

In addition to the mayor, the recent hit and run lawsuit committed by illegal immigrants in Venezuela in Nashville has created a wave of nationalities as the suspects are still large.
