Arrested with a fatal Southern California hit and run that involves two vehicles
This is not the first time that a lithium -ion battery caused a problem in First Less Ponder.
In September 2024, a large rig overturned by Sanpedro, which carries a large amount of lithium -ion battery, confused the port operations and closed the nightmare of transportation by closing a highway for nearly two days.
One of the damaged batteries of the crash exploded, causing LAFD CPT. Adam Van Gerpen was called “thermal runaway”, and the flame had risen about 5 to 10 feet.
The fatal clashes in Torance remain in the survey, and the Torance police station urges people who have information about collision to contact the 310-618-5557 transportation division.
