The 21-year-old suspect was arrested after a man fatally shot dead in San Bernardino was found.
On June 5th, San Bernardino police responded to a shooting in the 600 block of West 9th Avenue at 11:19pm
Officials have found the victim, a 38-year-old man, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital, where he died of injuries.
The gunman fled the area before police arrived. The murder detective later identified the suspected gunman Efren Tuy, 21, of the Redlands.
Tuy was on parole for a robbery and was sought by the Redlands Police Department for an armed robbery that occurred about an hour before the fatal shooting.
On June 7th, TUI was located in Redland and was taken into custody. The detective also recovered a firearm believed to have been used in the murder.
No additional details were released including possible motives and how the suspect and victim were known to each other.
Investigators are looking for additional witnesses who may have been in the area during the incident.
