The convicted murderer, who lives in prison for the murder of four Los Angeles County, strangled his wife while visiting a couple, Northern California sheriffs said.
Stephanie Brinson, 62, was strangled to death by her husband, David Brinson, 54, in November, the Amador County Sheriff’s Office announced this week.
In 1994, Brinson was sentenced to four consecutive life conditions without the possibility of parole to kill four men while robbing an apartment in Los Angeles, The Times reported.
He is currently jailed at a California Healthcare facility in Stockton.
Around 2am on November 13th, Brinson contacted officers and reported that his wife had passed away, according to the California Department of Corrections and Corrections. Officers tried to save lives, but Stephanie Brinson was declared dead at 2:51am
Amador County District Attorney Todd Liebe confirmed that Stephanie Brinson was killed during a couple’s visit. He said he had not received a report from the Mule Creek State Jail to make a decision to file charges.
