Authorities are looking for the only vehicle driver involved in hit and run, leaving one person in the car in serious condition.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said he received a call about a crash on Sepulveda Boulevard near 96th Avenue at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday.
“We found out that the vehicle hit a median median,” the spokesman said. “The driver was driving at high speed when he hit the median.”
According to LAPD, passengers inside the vehicle were seriously injured in the collision. They were taken to a nearby hospital.
It is unclear whether the driver or other passenger was injured, if any.

Police say there were contradictory initial reports from the scene regarding the suspect and passengers. According to one, the suspect escaped with a passenger, who was probably a child.
Another report from the scene showed that the driver left passengers in the vehicle. Both confirmed that the person who was not driving was seriously injured.
Video from the crash site, filmed by KTLA photojournalist Dan Lansford, shows that the vehicle, an Infinity SUV, is seriously damaged. A small mass above the median was destroyed.
While officers were conducting the initial investigation, traffic was seen being rerouted through the area.
As of 6am Tuesday, the suspect appeared to remain unresolved and no arrests had been made. Details surrounding the suspect’s identity were not immediately available.
