After years of Republicans who led the government’s propagation of Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous connected sex offender who died in prison in 2019, Democrats are leading the charges to release the so-called “Epstein Files.”

“I’m happy they were in the party, but they should have been a little more transparent a year ago,” R-Ind said. MP Mark Mesmer, of the group, told Fox News Digital.

President Donald Trump, who seized Republican demand for transparency around Epstein during former President Joe Biden’s administration, campaigned in 2024 by publishing the “Epstein Files” and the “client list” of his crimes.

However, Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI released a note this week, concluded that Epstein had committed suicide in his own cells and died. There is no “client list” and “Epstein Files” are thousands of illegal child sexual abuse materials and other pornographic subject to court order seals.

The Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein Files has created a cleft between the Republican “Maga” wings, which demand more transparency.

“Regardless of what management is involved, if there was a client list, if there was a video or no video, you should expect transparency. That is, you should expect transparency and full disclosure of what you are covering.”

The Democrats were quickly taken away from the intraparty conflict.

“They’re pretty rich,” R-Tenn said. Senator David Kustoff, of the group, told Fox News Digital. “But again, if there’s no new information, that’s fine. The Department of Justice comes out and explains it and asks you to answer the questions.

House speaker, Mike Johnson, R-La. repeatedly said that “all the credible evidence should be available” about Epstein, criticising Democrats who said he was politicizing the issue.

Rep. Ro Khanna, a Democrat of California, concluded a procedural vote to release all Epstein files into an unrelated cryptography earlier this week, and D-Texas Rep. Marc Veasey announced Monday that he would submit a resolution requesting the Trump administration to release all files related to the late Pedophile case.

Jamie Ruskin, D-MD. , Jerry Nadler, DN.Y. , and D-Wash. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, including progressives such as Pramila Jayapal and D-Texas’ Jasmine Crockett, have also taken Republican fractures and demanded the issue be made public, snatching the issue of more than the Epstein case.

“The Democrats will never give Donald Trump any credibility for anything,” Rep. Ralph Norman, Rs.C., told Fox News Digital. “Where were the questions you asked when Biden took office?”

And Rep. Beth Van Doin, R-Texas, said Democrats’ new investment in transparency in Epstein “proves that it’s been much more political.”

“I respect the call for transparency,” Rep. Blake Moore added R-Utah. “If it’s from Democrats and Republicans, I fully respect that. I don’t know anything on this front and I want to know that people are transparent and that things aren’t being done in any way or for creepy reasons.

“I don’t know Epstein Matter, don’t worry about files,” R-Calif Rep. Tom McClintock told Fox News Digital.
