The former Canadian Olympic snowboarder who became the head of a cross-border drug group and ordered numerous murders was reportedly added to the FBI’s “10 Most Wanted Fugs” list on Thursday.
Federal agents announced at a press conference in Los Angeles that Ryan Wedding, held in the gigantic slalom parallel to the 2002 Winter Olympics, is likely in Mexico, offering a $10 million reward for information that leads to his capture.
The 43-year-old wedding, which also passes through “Elgev” and “Public Ainners,” was accused of running a network that transported hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Columbia to California via Mexico in September indictments in the Central District of California.
He allegedly coordinated the murder and attempted murder of three people as part of a company that ran from 2011 to 2024, according to the indictment. His second commander, Andrew Clark, was arrested in Mexico in October.
Clark was detained in Mexico and then transferred to the US, where he was arrested Monday for a charge in Phoenix, prosecutors said.
The duo is said to hire contract killers and take hits on people who believe they’ve got in the way of the business.
In November 2023, they allegedly ordered the murder of an Indian couple visiting Canada who believed they had stole a cocaine shipment. It was a case of false identity. The couple was shot dead in front of their daughter.
In April 2024, Clark and another co-defendant, Malik Damion, allegedly ordered the murder of another Ontario man who was shot dead in his driveway. A month later, Wedding and Clark are allegedly killed by drug debt while he was sitting in a car in the driveway of the house.

Federal authorities said they believe the wedding is currently in Mexico and could be protected from the Sinaloa cartel.
