Several Los Angeles landmarks will change to a blue and Friday night on Friday night to celebrate the historic final of the UCLA women’s basketball team.

Rose Bowl Stadium Dodger Stadium Dignity Health Health Sports Park Santa Monica Pier Pacific Ferris Wheel City Hall US Bank Tower
First Team All-American Center The Bruins, led by Lauren Betts, defeated the No. 3 LSU Tigers to reach the program’s first final four. This year he marked the first first seed of the program in the tournament.
The tip-off is Friday at 6:30pm PT in Tampa, Florida.
The game will air live on ESPN, and UCLA will host a free watch party for fans inside the Pauly Pavilion.
UCLA Women’s Basketball competed in two semi-finals in 1978 and 1979 with the Women’s Championship Association. In 1978, the team won the AIAW National Championship.
UCLA won 123 NCAA Championships. This is the latest in December when the men’s water polo team won its 13th NCAA title. UCLA ranks second in the nation in the NCAA Team Championship behind Stanford, surpassing the third USC.
