The Los Angeles Police Department has released an incredible security camera video that runs the man out of the car, approaches the victim, and appears to show him abandoning him in the middle of busy Tarzana Street and leaving the car.
The felony hit and run case left a man in his 60s in danger and took place at 9:25am on Monday at Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street, LAPD said. Police are seeking the public’s help in finding suspects.
The victim was walking through a prominent crossing across Clark Street when a black Ford F-150 truck struck him by making his left into the street, police said. Security video shows the truck driver getting out of the vehicle and approaching the victim.
According to the video, the driver, who appears to be looking at his phone, observes the man for a few seconds before driving back to the truck. He did not identify himself or give him assistance as required by law.
He is said to be a man wearing a baseball cap, a blue jacket and dark pants, police said. The security video appeared to show some items of black trash cans, blue recycle bins and furniture in the truck bed. Several witnesses are also seen approaching the victim.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Station transported the victim to a local hospital.

The City of LA Hit and Run Trust Fund offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to criminal identification, arrest, conviction, or resolution through citizen compromise.
