According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the 29-year-old travel nurse, who has been certified at two hospitals in the Los Angeles area, has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to engage in minors and sexual activity, and authorities are seeking help identify potential additional victims.
Ameen Zarinkhil was taken into custody by detectives from the LAPD Harbor Area Deputy Division and was charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office with three felony counts related to child exploitation. The accusations include one count trying to meet with minors for sexual activity, one count trying to create child pornography, and one count sending harmful issues to the child.

Zarinkhil, who was qualified from both West Hills Hospital and San Dimas Community Hospital, was assigned to booking number 7051147 and is currently on bail. Due to the nature of the allegations and Zarinkil’s position of trust in the medical community, detectives are releasing his booking photos and encouraging anyone who may have been victimized to move forward.

“The photo from the appointment is released in the hope that the victim will recognize him and provide important information to investigators,” LAPD officials said in a statement.
