Police say the man who called police and reported someone inside a luxury Hollywood Hills home protected the suspect at gunpoint before officers arrested him.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a home robbery call in the 1700 block of Chris Layway around 1:35am Saturday, a department spokesperson confirmed to KTLA.
“The homeowner said the suspect was inside his home,” the spokesman said.

When officers arrived a while later, they found the homeowner holding the suspect at the muzzle. The suspect was then taken to police custody.

Information surrounding their identity was not immediately provided. However, a video obtained by KTLA shows a man wearing a green jacket, handcuffed and escorted, being escorted by the team.
Officers were also seen gathering evidence from the gorgeous home, located on a cliff overlooking the city and possibly interviewing residents of the home.

No injuries have been reported, according to a spokesman for LAPD. Corresponding officers gave homeowners the option to submit arrests of private citizens. However, he refused to do so.
Nothing was taken and the suspect was arrested, resulting in a trespass report.
