First on FOX: GOP MP Darrell Issa introduced a bill aimed at preventing federal judges from issuing national injunctions with the sole purpose of derailing the president’s political agenda.

The law known as the No Rogue Tulings Act (Norra) amends Title 28, Chapter 85 of United 5 States Code, by adding “limitations on the authority to provide injunctive relief.”

“Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the US District Court must not issue an order providing for injunctive relief, a party seeking injunctive relief from such a district court. “The law states.

Dozens of activists and legal groups, elected officials, local jurisdictions and individuals have launched more than 50 lawsuits against the Trump administration since January 20th, according to Fox News Digital. did. Early this month.

Issa said that by preventing Nora from issuing injunctions that are extended beyond the parties directly involved in the case, he also limits the scope of the national injunction, while also preventing the injunction from being circumscribed to the case. By ensuring that only certain parties requesting relief are restricted, we say that we guarantee that the injunction will require relief, whether or not it involves full enforcement, action or policy action.

“The founders could not have imagined a part of the judge and legislative department. “And ‘weaponization of the courts.”

Issa’s office told Fox News Digital that it is optimistic that it is a bill that will pass Congress with Republican support and that President Trump will sign, with the bill having “the greatest momentum.” He added.

It’s likely that “millions will be wasted” in the flood of lawsuits, but that Trump’s precious time could be spent: Experts

“Nowhere in our constitution is a single federal judge who has been given absolute authority over the president or the people of the United States,” Issa posted on X last week.

Issa’s bill comes as the Trump administration was publicly pushed back by gusts of injunctions from courts around the country.

“Many outlets in this room fear that Americans believe there is a constitutional crisis in the White House,” White House spokesperson Carolyn Leavitt said last week. He said at a press conference. “I’ve been hearing those words a lot recently, and in fact there’s a real constitutional crisis happening within our judicial branch, where district court judges in liberal districts around the country are Trump. It abuses the president’s power to unilaterally block the basic executive body.”

“These judges believe they are acting as judicial activists rather than honest arbitrators of the law, and they often end up in this administration in the last 14 days without citing the evidence or basis for their case. We have issued at least 12 injunctions against it,” she continued. “This is part of a larger, coordinated effort by Democratic activists and is merely a continuation of weaponizing justice against President Trump.”
