Former President Joe Biden’s inner circle believes that first ladies, the most powerful first ladies in history, are revealing CNN anchor Jake Tupper and Axios political correspondent Alex Thompson in her new book, Original Sin.
Jill Biden, a PhD who White House staff called “Dr. B,” was a passive political spouse early in her husband’s political career. During the presidential election and taking part in the presidency, First Lady has become his most stubborn advocate and “a political partner in addition to his spouse,” writes Thompson and Tupper.
“Dr. B was a powerful and protective force in the White House. She was also, without question, one of the leading supporters of the president’s decision to run for reelection and one of the leading deniers of his degradation,” the author writes.
President Donald Trump’s White House press secretary, Caroline Leavitt, said on Thursday that Jill Biden needs to answer her accomplice in “concealing” Biden’s cognitive decline.

Lewitt pointed out that Jill Biden in a joint interview with “The View” this month, jumped in to protect her husband as evidence that the former first lady was still covering for her husband.
“Intensely loyal” Jill Biden’s aide gets spurred by White House staff and claims a new book
Gill Biden has taken on a more prominent role, as Biden’s younger sister, Valerie “Val” Biden Owens and his adult children, Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden, were separated from Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, the book revealed.
“She placed emphasis on potential employment and reviewed many of the campaign ads before it aired. She was campaigning hard with questions about how many reporters there were at her event,” Tupper and Thompson said.
Jill Biden sat in a job interview with a candidate for White House aide, but with the help of her most trusted aide, Anthony Bernal, the book revealed that the most loyal staff “maintained the score.”
The White House begins to mention Jill Biden’s “spouse programming” event on foreign trips, and her team demands a talking point.

“[Bernal] We had already begun planning our First Lady’s 2025 international travel schedule,” Tupper and Thompson said.
At her 2022 state dinner, First Lady made an offhand comment to French President Emmanuel Macron about the difficult nature of the campaign and how she needs to take shape. Alexandra, daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, heard of it and found it strange according to “the original crime.”
“Afterwards, Alexandra turned to the president and asked if she needed to toast to another campaign. He turned to her as if she didn’t understand. Alexandra looked shocked by her mom. Everyone quickly gathered herself.
According to the author, Dr. B was particularly sensitive when asked about Biden’s age and abilities.
After Biden’s consequential debate performance in the summer of 2024, The Associated Press reported that Jill and Hunter Biden are urging the president to continue his reelection campaign. The source told the AP “We questioned how staff prepared for discussions were prepared and wondered if they could do better.”
Then-President Joe Biden looks down at CNN studio in Atlanta on June 27, 2024, as he took part in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election with then-President Donald Trump.
“Hunter personally spoke of it as a family to the world. People felt his flashier quality after his hit. He decided to save his father,” says Tupper and Thompson.
Shortly after the debate, Jill Biden joined Sen. Debbie Stavenaud on the campaign trail. After defending the president’s reelection campaign to reporters, Stebenow raised some of his colleagues’ concerns that Biden continues to race.
Jill Biden was accused of “elderly abuse” by Washington Post columnist for pushing her husband to seek reelection
“The First Lady didn’t answer the Senator’s unspoken questions, but she later made a statement about it to White House staff,” the book claimed.
A week later, Gov. Josh Shapiro, a native of Pennsylvania’s highly battlefield state, told the president he was “concerned.” But before Biden could fully respond, the first lady had guided him.
“Jill resented and cried out about every Democrat who thought of her friend who is now pushing Biden out. She knew she had failed in the aftermath of her disparaged admiration and debate. She was trying to help her husband in the moments he needed. She told Biden:
