Officials have warned residents on recent reports of telephone fraud artists who are becoming an official of the South Calvar Police Station in Southern Calvarnia.
According to the category, these artists have called for personal identification of victims, such as addresses, social security numbers, bank account details, and other confidential data.
“They may also use the official sound language to gain your trust,” said the police on Monday press release.
In addition, the officials said that the scammers used technology to imitate the category telephone number, and their calls seem to be legal to the victim.
If someone claims to have come from the Calvar City Police Station, the authorities will not be involved.
The division has released the following indicator list if you think you are targeted.
Confirm of the caller: Call the Calvar City Police Station on the 310-253-6208 to check if the call is legal. Report a suspicious activity: If you think you are targeted for this scam, immediately report it to the Calver City Police.
