After a fourth day protest against an immigration attack in downtown Los Angeles, several high-end businesses were plundered and destroyed overnight.

Carlos Herrera in Ktla was outside the Apple Tower Theater on West 8th Street and Broadway Tuesday morning, with cleanups underway following an overnight break-in and looting of the Apple Store.

“No ice” was spray painted on a damaged glass window in front of the store. Inside, broken glass was seen on the ground next to some items. The looters reportedly stole multiple iPhones, Apple Watches, laptops and chargers.

The video showed officers detaining the two suspects around midnight.

Several jewelry stores were also attacked overnight. There were big mobs outside the Sixth Avenue and Broadway businesses. The display box was left on the sidewalk, but it remains unknown exactly what was filmed from the store.

The owner of one of the store said he witnessed attempts to loot at least four people in Los Angeles’ Jewelry District.

Meanwhile, just a few blocks down West 8th Avenue and Main Street, police were seen defeating suspects who are believed to be involved in looting the Shoe Palace. Several other suspects were able to run from the scene.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has denounced concerns over the Trump administration’s intensifying ice attacks last week.

“I’ll take you with me last Thursday. Nothing happened in this town where I called for the raid that took place last Thursday, Friday. Nothing happened. Nothing was justified in the assault,” Bass said.

The mayor also asks why the targets for the immigrant raid have been changed clearly.

“If you remember, at the beginning of this administration, we were told that the attack was about looking for violent criminals, people with warrants,” Bass said. “But I don’t know how you’re going from drug dealers to Home Depot. They’re just trying to make a living at work for people they’re just trying to make a living.”

The city of Los Angeles has declared a tactical warning to restore order. The crowds had been dispersed as of Tuesday morning, but it was unclear whether more protests were planned later that day.
