The six-year-old boy from the Jurupa Valley was reunited with his beloved pony nearly two weeks after the small horse was stolen from the family’s front yard.

Reuben Vazquez and his family were devastated when they discovered that “little evil” had disappeared overnight on March 1st.

“My dad said he was stolen in the night, but I didn’t believe him, so I went and then there was an open hole and wire there,” Reuben said.

The family feared they would never see evil again.

“He was very sad, very devastated,” Anguiano said. “He was very worried about how he was being treated.”

Deciding to bring the evil home, the family took them to social media, sharing photos and pleading for help.

The post quickly spread, and almost two weeks later it came to a breakthrough. This is a Facebook message from someone who believed they knew where the pony was.

Following the hint, the family contacted the police and rushed to an Ontario dairy farm where they were barely evil on their own.

“I didn’t believe him, and I didn’t think it was mine,” recalls Reuben.

However, when he saw the pony, his doubts quickly turned to joy.

“As soon as he saw it, he ran to the pony. He grabbed it and he left with his pony,” Anguiano said.

Now safely back home, Little Avil is happily munching on Hay, and Reuben can’t stop smiling.
