The gunman had fled the scene before police arrived.
Investigators later identified the suspected gunman as Sergio Mario Guevara, 38, of Huntington Beach. On July 3rd, detectives arrested Guevara near Beach Boulevard and Warner Avenue for an attempted murder.
A search warrant was also carried out at a residence in the 7800 block of Slater Avenue. Previously, another male suspect was arrested in the shooting, but police confirmed he was later released and remained an interested person.
