The suspect was arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Orange County.
The suspect was identified as Jonathan Lopez, 22, of Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
On May 10, police responded to a robbery at the shopping plaza at 3321 S. Bristol Street in Santa Ana, near South Coast Plaza Mall. Surveillance video captured a female victim walking to her car at night.
After she arrived, the suspect drove, stepped in, pointed a gun at her, demanding that she handed her property.

He thrusts his way into her car and stole her wallet and a ton of cash, police said. He fled the scene before the officers arrived.
After a week-long investigation, detectives identified Lopez as the suspect involved.
On July 9, a search warrant was provided at home, and officers found the victim’s belongings and hundreds of ammunition, two large-capacity rifles and a handgun magazine, and about $15,000 in cash.
