Police have released a new video of violent daytime attacks in East Hollywood.
According to LAPD, the woman was repeatedly stabbed on January 18 at noon near the intersection of Santa Monicable Bird and Edge Mont Street.
In the video, you can see an object when you approach a woman walking with the other two when a man is attacked.
Neighbors and people working in this area said they were shaken by violent attacks.
“I’m very scared,” Lillian Godiness, who works nearby, said. “Many crazy people in this area.”
The stabbed woman was taken to the hospital and recovered.
Police say that the attacker went east to the Santa Monicable Bird and Vermont Avenue Metro station.
Miguel Lopez, who is working nearby, said that this area needs more security. Lopez shared a monitoring video with NBC4, which indicates another angle of an attacker who runs away after stabbing a woman.
LAPD released a photo of a man, hoping that someone could identify him. Anyone who has detailed information about the case will be asked to call Rampart Detective Division at 213-484-3631.
