An Orange County man is recovering from what appears to be the brutal head injuries he suffered from in the early morning attack Tuesday.
Details are limited and it is unclear exactly what happened, but officials from the Lahabra Police Station said they responded to a “ongoing battle” near Lahabra Boulevard and McPherson Street just after 3am
At the scene, police found two men and women injured, both of whom were rushed to hospital for treatment.

In a photo provided to KTLA by the son of the male victim, his father is seen in the hospital, placing at least four staples on a large cut on his head, and blood from the wound in his left eye. He also appeared to be wearing a neck brace.

The status of the female victim was not immediately available.
Police said the suspect has been arrested in connection with the assault and the investigation remains active and continuing.
