Venice, Italy (AP) — Bonanza at Amazon founders Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos’ Venice wedding was reached on Saturday, the final day of the third day after the couple tied the knot a day ago in front of about 200 celebrities in a remote part of the lagoon city.
Details of the much-anticipated wedding on Friday night were kept tightly secret until Sanchez Bezos posted a photo on Instagram of herself glittering in a white gown while standing with Bezos, the world’s fourth most abundant man, the world’s.
Athletes, celebrities, influencers and business leaders gathered to enjoy the luxuries that were a testament to the couple’s love for their extraordinary wealth.
A series of water taxis passed through the lagoon and took Bezos, Sanchez Bezos and guests to the small island of San Giorgio, across from the lagoon basin from St. Mark’s Square, where the couple held a private ceremony. The paparazzi on their own boat followed behind in a controlled chase, attempting to catch the couple and their guests on camera.
The celebration is scheduled to end later on Saturday.
Most of the guests arrived between Thursday and Friday. The star-studded list included names such as Oprah Winfrey and NFL Great Tom Brady.

The wedding separates Venice, with some activists protesting the city by billionaire Bezo, while ordinary residents suffer from the constant threat of overhauling, high housing costs and climate flooding.
One group, known as the Extinction Rebellion, held a small protest at St. Mark’s Square on Thursday, featuring masked brides and grooms and people holding posters denounced climate change and income inequality.
“The planet is on fire, but don’t worry. Here is a list of 27 Lauren Sanchez’s dresses,” read one of the bride’s reported references to the wedding weekend wardrobe.
Protesters said plans to disrupt the arrival of guests at one of the wedding venues forced organizers to move the event beyond the busy centers of Venice into the safer Arsenel area.
The city administration has strongly defended its fiancé in line with the Venice tradition as an open city that has welcomed popes, emperors and ordinary visitors for centuries.
According to Corilla, the Venice Environmental Studies Association, Bezos has donated 1 million euros ($1.17 million) each to three environmental research institutes working to preserve Venice.
