Circle K will celebrate the American Red Cross month on the West Coast on Thursday, March 20th by offering a special “fuel day” event that will provide customers from 40 cents offgas per gallon across California.
A spokesman for the convenience store brand said the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from the event to the American Red Cross to support its important relief efforts, and the funds will support the community during times of crisis.
“We’re excited to announce that we’re doing our best to help you get started,” said George Wilkins, vice president of operations for Circle K’s West Coast Business Unit. “With much work still underway in recovery from wildfires this winter and preparing for future disasters, it is important to continue supporting our relief and recovery efforts while bringing value to our loyal customers on another exciting day.”

Over 240 Circle K locations in California, Oregon and Washington will take part in the event. The offering helped raise funds for wildfire relief efforts in Southern California following a similar initiative held in January.
“This year’s disaster is setting a whirlwind pace,” said Sean Mahony, CEO of the Southern Cross Southern California Region. “We thank Circle K for their support throughout the March, Red Cross month and throughout the year, and we will respond whenever and wherever we need the Red Cross, providing peace of mind and hope in times of crisis.”
Customers who want to take advantage of the 40 cent fuel discount can find the location of participating circle K using the store locator tool on the company’s website. Discount prices will be reflected at participating locations in California from 4pm to 7pm local time, but consumables will be the last.
