Although the high-speed winds have largely subsided for now, conditions at the scene for firefighters and other first responders have worsened. Tens of thousands of Angelenos have already been forced to evacuate, and the largest fires, the Eaton and Palisades fires, are in the single digits of containment, and smaller fires such as the Sunswept, Sunset, and And then there’s the logistical whiplash caused by the ongoing Kenneth and Hearst fires.
But for those displaced by the fires, a handful of Los Angeles restaurants are doing everything in their power to provide free food and shelter. This running list was updated on Thursday, January 9th.
