San Bernardino County law enforcement arrested three of the seven suspects reportedly attacked the location of the sunglasses shed and escaped with 11 pairs of sunglasses worth $30,000, authorities announced Thursday.
The April 26 incident unfolded on a drive in 13,850 city centre in Chino Hills around 2pm, according to a news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the suspect fled the area at high speed on two separate vehicles.
“One of the suspicious vehicles was tracked and pursued until the vehicle was disabled in the county area of Fontana,” the release elaborated.

Three suspects, two adults and a boy tried to escape on foot, but soon resided and was taken into custody.
The two adults were identified as DeParis Battle, 18, of Rialto, and Devonte Moore, of Victorville, 18, but the boy was identified as a resident of Victorville.

During the search of the vehicle, 72 pairs of stolen sunglasses were recovered, authorities said.
The fight with Moore was booked at West Valley Detention Center for commercial robberies. The boy was booked for a commercial robbery at the San Bernardino County Boys Hall.
An investigation into retail theft is underway, and detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Chino Hills Station of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office at 909-364-2000.
