Evan Lovett is a popular social media personality in LA and one of Los Angeles’ biggest cheerleaders on the Minutes Podcast, and unfortunately became the victim of one of Angelenos’ biggest fears.
In a post on his social media account on Saturday morning, including blasphemy, Lovett revealed that his home had broken down on Friday night. He arrives at his son’s Little League baseball game and finds his safe missing after a glass door shattered.
Lovett said valuables, including items inherited from the late family, such as parents and wife’s grandmother, are found in the stolen safe.
“This s*** is getting uneasy,” he said in the video. “It’s not cool.”
L.A. creator Evan Lovett had quickly robbed his home, he said in a social media post. (1 minute)
Lovett, who became a typical guest of KTLA programming, said he was put on hold with the dispatcher for 59 minutes when he called 911.
“Fortunately, it’s just a robbery in a house. Someone was dying, suffocating, shot or something,” he said. “But what happens if it’s a real, timely emergency?”
Employment at the Los Angeles Police Department is Mayor Karen Bass’ long-term goal, and he acknowledges the department is a victim of a staffing understaffing.
Lovett has expressed his love for the city of LA in social media posts and podcasts, but he has used the opportunity to express that he still needs to improve.
“This is a problem,” he said. “That’s a real problem.”
