President Donald Trump and his administration continued negotiations for their fifth week of office with Ukraine and Russia to arrive at a peace agreement to end the conflict between the two countries.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Middle East Steve Witkov and national security adviser Mike Waltz met with Russian officials on Tuesday to discuss ways to end the war. Kyiv on Wednesday’s peace deal.

When Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelenki told reporters in Turkish that “no one will decide anything behind our backs,” the meeting raised tensions between the US and Ukraine, with Ukraine also entitled to the US and He claimed he was not invited to a Russian conference. Zelenskyy says Ukraine will not agree to the deal unless Ukraine is part of the consultation.

In response, both Trump and Zelensky traded barbs. Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, but Trump hinted that Ukraine began the war and called Zelenki a “dictator.” Meanwhile, Zelensky argued that Trump was dispersing “disinformation” in Russia.

Still, the Trump administration defended its decision to meet with Russia and argued that negotiations should proceed.

“Unless you’re talking to Russia, how are you going to end the war?” Vice President JD Vance said Thursday at a conservative political action conference near the country’s capital. “You have to talk to everyone involved in the battle, if you really want to end the conflict.”

This is what happened at the White House this week.

Weeding unconstitutional regulations

Trump on Wednesday called on federal agencies to assess regulations that could violate the constitution, demanding that the administration seek to reduce the deficit.

Senior administration officials told Fox News Digital that the order was the first of its kind and an attempt by the government to prevent the removal of weapons against the American people. The agency must submit a list to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) within 60 days of all regulations that may be unconstitutional.

The OMB Information and Regulation Authority (OIRA) and the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will oversee this effort and investigate federal agency regulations.

Doge officials of federal agencies will catalogue regulations that can violate the constitution and deliver lists to OMB. After 60 days, OIRA will pass the list of regulations, make individual decisions that are unconstitutional and begin the process of repealing regulations on a case-by-case basis.

Expanding IVF coverage

Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday, demanding that the National Policy Council consider ways to perform in vitro fertilization, known as IVF.

“Americans need reliable access to IVFs and affordable treatment options, as the cost per cycle ranges from $12,000 to $25,000,” the executive order said. “Providing support, awareness and access to affordable fertility treatments will help these families navigate their path to becoming parents with hope and confidence.”

For domestic policy, the president’s assistant will provide policy recommendations within 90 days that aim to “protect IVF access and actively reduce out-of-pocket and health planning costs for IVF treatment.”

Terminate taxpayer funds for illegal immigration

Trump has also signed an executive order to prevent taxpayer benefits from illegal immigrants in order to better protect the interests of American citizens.

The directive determines whether federal agencies provide economic benefits to illegal immigrants and administer “corrective actions” to prevent these federal funds from strengthening illegal immigrants. I’m demanding that you take it soon. Similarly, the order directs agencies to implement more stringent eligibility verifications to prevent these benefits from being illegally sent to people in the United States.

The order did not identify any particular interests. He also notes that illegal immigrants are largely prohibited from being eligible for welfare programs. However, the order states without providing evidence that past administrations “repetitively lower the targets of its laws, resulting in inappropriate spending of important taxpayer resources.”

“My administration supports the rule of law, prevents waste of resources for hard-earned taxpayers and protects benefits for US citizens in need, including disabled and veterans,” the order states. It’s there.

“President Trump is committed to protecting federal public benefits for truly needy American citizens, including people with disabilities and veterans,” the White House fact sheet for the executive order said.
