A police officer on duty at Huntington Beach was involved in a traffic crash, sending about half a dozen people to hospitals, and according to multiple media reports, the crash was the second involving injury in less than a month.
Police spokesman Jessica Kuchira added that although the OC register has limited details about the crash crash due to the multi-screening collision deployed at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive, the California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving officers.
In the crash photo posted by the Register, there was significant damage on the passenger side of the front end of the dark-colored Kia sedan, and the outlet reports that the executive patrol cruiser also caused damage to the front end.
It is currently unknown whether officers are answering the phone or whether the patrol cruiser’s lights and sirens were crashed.

The city’s news service reported that six people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, but the condition of the injured was not immediately available, and it is not known whether officers were among those taken to the hospital.

This was the second collision that included an injury to the Huntington Beach Police Department within a month.
In late February, officers attacked a man on an electric scooter near Beach Boulevard and Heil Avenue. The man was knocked out of the scooter and attacked by a second car.
The scooter rider was rushed to the hospital in unknown conditions, the register reported.
CHP investigators told the outlet that the driver of the second vehicle remained on the scene and worked with the investigators, but the officers involved in the crash remained on regular duty.
