Three members of the California family have gone missing after a hunting holiday home, and Texas has been wiped out by a devastating flood that has taken the lives of more than 100 people, multiple media reports.
The Walker family, Mark, 51, his wife, Sarah, and 14-year-old son, Johnny, are from Kentfield, Marin County.
Mark’s younger brother, Tyler Walker, who pitched for the San Francisco Giants from 2004 to 2008, flew to Texas over the weekend after learning the devastating news, the Marine Independent Journal reported.
Tyler was able to reunite with his missing family daughter, his nie, 16-year-old Ellie.

Many survivors were found clinging to the tree above or rushed.
Mark and Tyler’s mother, Kathy Walker, told the Journal that he had been in contact with Mark while his family was in the riverside villa but hadn’t heard of him since the flood.

“All we can do is pray at this point and wait for a miracle,” she told the outlet.
The missing couple’s 14-year-old son was enrolled in his freshman year at Marine Catholic High School. There, a prayer service for the family was scheduled tonight, the Los Angeles Times reported.
“In these heartbreaking times, we are headed towards God to pray for the Walker family and all the victims of the devastating floods of Texas. We pray for a miracle in the hopes that Ellie will be reunited with her mother, father and brother,” the statement said.
As of the latest update from Texas state officials, more than 160 people are believed to have been missing as a result of a catastrophic flood.
