Investigators are still seeking someone suspected of shooting three people in the Lancaster area over the weekend.
According to a news release, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of the shooting at 4:52pm Sunday near 215th Street East and East Palmdale Boulevard.
According to KABC-TV, deputies at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station investigated encountered a horrifying scene.
They were identified as a 65-year-old woman, a 44-year-old man, and another man in his 40s. Authorities said all three died at the scene.
A sheriff’s official told KTLA. “At the same time, deputies found an SUV with a trailer attached and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were also declared that they had died at the scene.”
According to KABC, the shooter was believed to have approached the victim in his car and fired fire before driving.
